This blog is established and maintained by a minority shareholder group having deep concerns about the current status and future of IMC. The obvious regard is the promise of a return on our collective investments in a company that appears to be failing rapidly, in spite of tens-of-millions dollars raised by the current administration of the company.
Many of you have been notified of this blog through a direct traditional postal mailing, generated by a concerned, proactive shareholders group bound by the desire to remove IMC's current Executive Management and to exercise additional shareholders rights under law in both Canadian and
Hey, are you the same people that had the attorney from Dallas contact me? If you are, please contact me again because this time I am ready to possible join in. If I don't hear from you within the next 2 days or so I'll use the email address provided. I think this all needs to to be aired out fully.
ReplyDeleteI got the notice. Looks like I'm not the first one here. All I can say is that it is about time!
ReplyDeleteMore than my gut tells me something is definitely wrong with this IMC outfit. I have not been able to get a peep of information from the company directly or my broker. I'm worried about where the money has gone and with no noticeable business events for almost a year. Any one else? Do we use the email address to signup for some sort of action?
To the commenter and a "gut" check. I called the office number for the Canadian headquarters. Could not find one for the US subsidiary. When I called the Canadian number a woman answered saying the name of something, something "Capital Company." She quickly corrected herself and said Immersive Media Corporation. I asked if I had the right number and she said it was Immersive's number. When I asked what she first said, she avoided my question and said "this is the number for Immersive Media." She then proceeded to tell me she would have someone from the company call me back, because there was no one there at the time for me to speak to. I asked again who she worked for, and she stammered and paused a bit and said Immersive Media. I hung up then and called back in 10 minutes or so and no one picked up the line. Strange. She works for Immersive but answers the phone for another company too? I started checking around and believe I discovered 2-3 other companies in the same suit of offices. I'll send in more information to the email address posted. Is there something really going on??
ReplyDeleteThis is good news and bad news. On one hand it's good to see that someone is doing some homework on these people. The bad part is that we are forced to do this sort of homework. I have never made such a large investment and lost at this level before. I expect they are going to give the generally poor stock market condition as part of their excuse for the current valuation of the company. But in my opinion that is only a small part of the story here. I cannot help but fear the worst because they should still have the capital to be an ongoing business, however with no performance or progress announcements at all since the botched Google deal, I am waiting for the other shoe to drop, like an announcement of bankruptcy or something. But where is the money going, or should I say where has it gone. What did they spend over $30M on? Is this action timed for the annual shareholders meeting, and will you notify us of pending action? I'll try your email address too.
ReplyDeleteMy investment advisor tells me he gets nothing but the run around from the people running this outfit. Sending messages to the info email box seems to be a waste of time. The lights are on but no one is home?
ReplyDeleteI want to know exactly how much investment capitol this company is spending on righting this ship, and what profit insiders have taken? The current market has little to do with the year long crash of this stock. I do think it is high time for directed answers to basic questions.
